Training camp is in full swing for the Kansas City Chiefs at Missouri Western State University. The team is entering its second week at their training site in Saint Joseph, Missouri. During that short stretch, a number of story lines have already emerged. We’ll have a clearer picture of how the roster’s shaping up after the Chiefs’ first preseason tilt with the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday night, but for now, a few things have piqued my interest.

I’m not entirely sure if it’s coincidental or a subconscious concern for the health of Kansas City’s offense, but the three things I currently have my eye on all rest on that side of the football. The fate of Kansas City’s offensive line appears to be just to the left and right of second-year man Mitch Morse. The oft-maligned Knile Davis has the opportunity to capitalize on a contract year. Nick Foles has joined the ranks at quarterback and gives the Chiefs a fantastic insurance policy for incumbent Alex Smith.

It’s Tuesday afternoon, and I’m sure you have things to do, so let’s get right to it.

Next: Knile Davis and the Chiefs' newest quarterback...
