Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce absolutely ruins Peyton Manning in an interview with Sports Illustrated.

Kelce has been making his media rounds in recent weeks, talking about his dating show that will air in October on E! Network, Catching Kelce. However, Kelce spoke with Maggie Gray on SI Now and talked some football.

When asked about whether or not he was happy Peyton Manning retired, the Pro Bowl tight end authored a surprising and epic response.

“Um, I mean the last game he played against us he threw about four picks, so I can’t necassarily say I’m happy about it,” Kelce said.

You can see the interview below in the tweet:

Hilarious. Kelce walks it back after the initial comment and talks about how great Manning was, but that initial shot is tremendous. After losing the first five games Kelce ever played against Manning, it had to be sweet watching the future first-ballot Hall of Famer getting benched for Brock Osweiler.

Kelce should keep doing interviews, he is high-quality entertainment. Hopefully he’s doing a few during Super Bowl week during preparations.
