On Tuesday, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce spoke on the Rich Eisen Show.

Kelce spent the first half of this interview talking about his new show, Catching Kelce, which will be on Oct. 5 through the E! Network.

However, around the 11-minute mark, the conversation turned to football. Eisen began talking about how Kansas City’s offense doesn’t have a ton of punch, and Kelce offered up a cryptic “just wait” comment before mentioning that the offense has a new spin with Brad Childress and Matt Nagy taking over for Doug Pederson at offensive coordinator.

Kelce also talked about the level of talent the team possesses and said he always believes the Chiefs are the best team on the field. It was a good spot for Eisen and Kelce, and definitely worth the watch.

Frankly, the Chiefs have to open up offensively to win a Super Bowl. Alex Smith doesn’t have to throw for 5,000 yards and 40 touchdowns, but being close to 4,000 yards and 25-30 touchdowns would go a long, long way.

With the Chiefs’ ability to run the football, teams are going to stack the box and take their chances against Kelce, Jeremy Maclin and the rest of the group. It’s time for Smith to take full advantage.
