Jamaal Charles is looking like a boss.

With training camp just around the corner, NFL head coaches around the league have their fingers crossed about their respective squads staying in playing shape. They will have not seen their men since early June, and the fear is always that a little vacation and recreational time can lead to some extra pounds. It is safe to say that Andy Reid doesn’t have to worry too much about what Jamaal Charles is doing with his time off

Back on Friday via Jamaal’s Twitter account, followers got a glimpse into the progress Mr. Charles has made after suffering a torn ACL back in October.

The short clip (featured below) shows the fan favorite going through a ladder drill with encouraging voices in the background. Jamaal looks to be moving pretty fluidly with no sign of a knee brace. In another Tweet, Charles references that he is “on that rehab grind” with a training group called EXOS.

Obviously, we all love to see footage like this, especially right before training camp. This segment is not the first of its kind; there was another video that surfaced in February displaying Jamaal jumping rope just four months after ACL surgery. Charles’ season ended last fall in a devastating fashion, so seeing him work to get back on the field is nothing short of awesome.

Although a lot of opinions expressed that the Chiefs were a more balanced and complete team without Charles, nobody is going to convince me they are not a better team with him. No running back has ever averaged more yards per carry than Jamaal Charles.
