As you can see from my stat projections for KC’s wideouts for the upcoming 2016 season, they will have a significant impact on the team’s offense as a whole. With the main corps of Maclin, Wilson and Conley having another year of experience of working with signal caller Alex Smith and and also Andy Reid in his version of the west coast offense, I expect improvement from this group from last year.

Then, when you throw in a veteran like Rod Streater and a big receiver like rookie Mitch Mathews potentially having impacts this year and this receiving corps could become a deep unit in an instant. It will be interesting to see how this group shakes out this year, but similar to what I expect their running backs to do this season, I expect the receivers to also help improve this offense overall and make it more of an elite offense than before.
