Since then, he has been all the chatter at the Chiefs’ OTA’s. With a 40 yard dash of 4.25, this kid has an extra gear that several of the Chiefs’ defensive backs have already talked about. Nick Jacobs who is on the Chiefs beat had some respect to give to the rookie when discussing his talent:

Hill has made some nice plays at wide receiver and looks to be challenging De’Anthony Thomas for a potential roster spot. He seems to have a perfect skill-set for a West Coast offense like Andy Reid’s. As we have seen through three years under Reid, he has used Thomas to add another dimension to his offense with concepts like jet sweeps and bubble screens. You can never have enough guys who can fly and create mismatches across a defense.

We also cannot diminish how much of an emphasis the Chiefs put on special teams under special teams coach Dave Toub. Think about how often Knile Davis or DAT opt not to return a kickoff. It certainly is a rare occurrence. The Chiefs have an aggressive approach when fielding punts and kicks, so guys like Hill become more valuable.
