With the departure of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Chase Daniel to the Philadelphia Eagles the absence has left an interesting position battle behind quarterback Alex Smith.

With the Kansas City Chiefs in the middle of their organized team activities, one of the more interesting battles will be who will backup current starter quarterback Alex Smith. The Chiefs have several interesting prospects waiting on the edge willing to prove themselves through sheer skill and knowledge into the number two position; Aaron Murray, Tyler Bray and Kevin Hogan.

Which of these college quarterbacks will be backing up Smith is anyone’s game. So with OTAs fully underway and training camp set to come up at the end of July, let’s take a look at the men who could be backing up Smith.
