3. Travis Kelce

After missing his entire rookie season due to a knee injury, Kelce has really come on strong in the last two years for Kansas City. One of the team’s two third round picks in the 2013 NFL Draft, the former Cincinnati Bearcat has quickly become one of the top young tight ends in the league today.

Kelce has at least 862 receiving yards and five touchdowns for the Chiefs, and has also earned himself the reputation as one of the best blocking tight ends in football too. The sky is the limit for this kid and it’s very possible that when his career comes to an end, he could be closing in on some of Tony Gonzalez’s records at tight end for this organization.

2. Fred Arbanas

Arbanas was the first great tight end in franchise history. The Michigan State product has the distinction of being drafted two different times in 1961, once by the St. Louis Cardinals in the AFL Draft and once by the Dallas Texans in the NFL Draft.

As a Chief, he ended up making five Pro Bowl teams, and his 3,101 receiving yards and 34 touchdowns during his stay in Kansas City rank him second only to No. 1 on this list, Tony Gonzalez for TEs.
