Good morning, Addicts! You know what day it is… HUMP DAYYYYYY!

The Kansas City Chiefs are in the middle of their second OTA session with the team trying to get some things accomplished before mandatory minicamp later in June.

So far, everything has been positive for Kansas City. We have not seen anybody getting seriously injured (fingers crossed) and early reports have been solid about the rookies. If all continues to go this well, we should be feeling very good about this team headed into July, when we will get further ideas on how close Justin Houston is to returning, and whether Eric Berry gets signed.

Here is the news you need to know…

Chiefs will be fine at corner, if early indications mean anything Adam Teicher of ESPN

"The Chiefs have far to go before things are resolved favorably here. They are counting on plenty of unknowns, like whether Gaines can continue the development path he was on before the injury. They need Nelson and Russell to continue their early play. They need at least one of their other young corners to develop."

Travis Kelce is not optimistic about Cavs’ chancesAdam Teicher of ESPN

"The NBA Finals tip off Thursday night in Oakland, California. The Cavaliers will try to win Cleveland’s first championship in a major professional sport since 1964."

Will 2016 be Dee Ford’s breakout season?Ryan Disdier of NFL Spin Zone

"As a pass-rusher, Ford has a great motor, as well as ideal acceleration. He uses his speed, quickness and burst to get around tackles. However, sometimes his speed and momentum is used against him, as he can get sucked up field. He certainly has raw ability that helps him rush the quarterback, but as it stands right now, he’s lacking a go-to pass-rush move."
