After seeing BOVADA release the 2016 NFL over/under odds, let’s have fun with the Kansas CIty Chiefs.

This is the perfect time of year to have some fun and think about what could be in the 2016 regular season and hopefully, beyond.

The Kansas City Chiefs are a team with many quality players if not flat-out stars, as evidenced by their massive turnout in the Top 100 Players of 2016 on NFL Network. In the betting vein, I’m going to lay out some over/unders for players on offense, and tell me what you would take…

Alex Smith: 22 touchdowns

Smith has only eclipsed this mark once in his career, doing so in 2013. The 32-year-old threw for 20 last season after having a campaign in which he failed to hit a receiver in the end zone for all 16 games. This year, the cast around him might be better than ever.

Jamaal Charles: 1,000 rushing yards

We all know that Charles could do this. He has eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark five times in his career (or every year he has been a healthy starter). Can Charles get back to that lofty mark after a second ACL tear and with a crowded backfield behind him?

Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware: 1,000 combined rushing yards

Last year, West and Ware came out of nowhere to turn into a very nice tandem. They accounted for 1,037 rushing yards combined, with Charles missing the last 11 games of the season with a torn ACL. Can the duo repeat the feat and get back over the 1,000-yard mark?
