We give AFC West offseason grades, including one for our Kansas City Chiefs.

With the NFL offseason all but complete at this point, let’s take a look and see where the four AFC West teams stand.

It has been nothing short of a whirlwind for this group over the winter and spring, with the Oakland Raiders grabbing a ton of headlines. Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos watched one quarterback retire and another leave, before taking the future in the first round.

With the Kansas City Chiefs, we saw a notable loss and a notable gain, along with some key re-signings and a mixed bag in the NFL Draft. As for the San Diego Chargers, they quietly made some moves and then shocked some in the draft.

Ultimately, we have to understand which teams got better, which got worse and which didn’t make much of an impact. We will break down all the moves and assign a grade, but more importantly give a win-loss projection based on the moves.

Of course, the Chiefs are the most important subject to us here at Arrowhead Addict, but Kansas City’s fortunes are directly tied to the fortunes of these three enemies. It’s time to evaluate.

Without further adieu, let’s go through the teams and see what happened over the past three months.
