Good morning, Addicts! It’s Friday, and that means quitting time is a great moment to start celebrating. You have the whole weekend ahead of you, which hopefully means some quality spent with loved ones. For me, it means watching sports while the fiancee works. At least I get to hang out with the dog and put my feet up.

Recently, NFL Network has been counting down the top 100 players of 2015 and you may have noticed (if you read Arrowhead Addict, you definitely have) that the Kansas City Chiefs have placed four players in spots 100-81. Alex Smith was No. 81 in a surprise, and while most fans were happy to see him honored at all, Tamba Hali wasn’t having that ranking.

Here is the news you need to know…

Tamba Hali stands up for teammate Alex Smith Adam Teicher of ESPN

"His teammate, linebacker Tamba Hali, was interviewed on the show in which Smith’s selection to the list was revealed. He not only defended the selection of Smith, but said he should have been ranked higher."

Oakland Raiders have surpassed Kansas City Chiefs in AFC WestMaurice Morton of NFL Spin Zone

"The Oakland Raiders re-tooled the secondary. The Denver Broncos will start a new quarterback in Week 1. The Kansas City Chiefs salvaged most of their impact in-house free agents. The San Diego Chargers added pieces to fortify the defensive line."

Undrafted defensive back Shak Randolph anything but average – Adam Teicher of ESPN

"General manager John Dorsey happened to be watching from the sideline near the spot where Randolph made his interception. Dorsey generally misses nothing at practice but in case he didn’t see this particular play, Randolph rolled the ball to Dorsey, bowling-style."
