12. Damon Huard

Continuing a time-honored tradition in Kansas City, the Chiefs went out and got an old quarterback who had never really done anything in the league, somehow believing he could be great. This is clearly not the best logic, and yet it happened over, and over, and over.

Huard was brought in from the New England Patriots when he was 33 years old to be the backup for Trent Green. However, injuries eventually led to the horror that was Huard actually playing football. When you hear about a quarterback being a statue in the pocket, Huard is the exact description of that. In fact, he might be why the term was started.

Throughout his career, Huard threw 33 touchdowns and 26 interceptions while completing 60 percent of his throws. He is certainly better than anybody listed below him, but he’s just not a starter. In fairness to the man himself, he was not signed to get on the field. Unfortunately, injuries happen in the NFL and Huard was forced into action. The NFL was never the same after witnessing him.

Kansas City moved on from the Huard Experience after the 2008 season when he decided to hang up the cleats after his age-35 season.
