The Kansas City Chiefs surprised fans when they traded out of the first round of the NFL Draft.
The Kansas City Chiefs must have seen more value in trading back than they did in making a selection in the first round. When it was KC’s turn to make a selection at #28, the Chiefs traded their pick to the San Fransisco 49ers, who ended up selecting a guard. In return, the Chiefs got quite a haul.
Terms of the deal: San Francisco sends 2016 2nd, 4th and 6th round picks to Kansas City for pick 28.

The Chiefs were obviously hurting for picks after losing their third-round pick this year and sixth-round pick next year in a tampering penalty from the NFL. We took to Twitter to see if Chiefs fans were happy with the extra picks or upset the team didn’t snag a player.
Fans probably aren't happy with trade but the extra picks will help. Chiefs now have 3 of top 105 picks. Before, had two of top 125

I'm very happy with @Chiefs trade back. Loving Dorsey more every year. #NFLDraft #ChiefsDraft #ChiefsKingdom

I'm cool with the Chiefs trade but I also know very little about the guys available here. Was that Tim Tebow feller on the board?

So I'm happy with the trade! Worth it!! Now let's go to work! @Chiefs @SportsRadio810 #ChiefsDraft #NFLDraft2016

All right, Addicts. Now it is your turn to weigh in. Did GM John Dorsey do the right thing by trading back or should he have pulled the trigger and added to the roster on Thursday night?
