Positions the Chiefs can avoid in the draft

Kansas City has few glaring needs at this point. The loss of their third-round pick does pressurize their draft situation a bit, but once you consider their strengths, the Chiefs have a number of options in front of them. Draftniks will tell you that Dorsey’s a strict adherent to the “best player available” strategy, but I’m not convinced that he isn’t carefully checking his inventory as part of his draft preparation. If I’m right about that, I suspect you’ll see the Chiefs avoid these positions later this week.
