It’s an odd day when the Los Angeles Rams are calling out the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs have been a very good team over the past three seasons. Twice they have been to the playoffs while the other year was a 9-7 campaign racked by injury. Meanwhile, the St. Louis-turned Los Angeles Rams have not made the playoffs since 2004 or had a winning record since 2003.
Yet, the Rams were talking smack about Kansas City recently, according to Peter King of Sports Illustrated. King reports that the Rams internally stated they did not want to become the Jets, Texans or Chiefs, which is why they traded up to the No. 1 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. In other words, the Chiefs have an excellent team with a bad quarterback, thus always being held back.
I would strongly argue that general manager Les Snead and the Rams ought to relax a bit. They should be absolutely thrilled if head coach Jeff Fisher can get that team anywhere near the level of Kansas City over the previous three seasons. Most people believe the Chiefs are a heavyweight and some are picking them to win the Super Bowl.
What do you have to say about this, Addicts? Are the Rams bringing up something legit or are they laughable?
