Good morning, Addicts! It’s HUMP DAYYYYYY. The Kansas City Chiefs and the rest of the National Football League are only one week away from the 2016 NFL Draft. This is an absolutely fantastic time if you root for the one of the 32 teams, and considering you are here, you do.

Also, what should we expect out of Jamaal Charles in 2016? Charles will be turning 30 years old in December and is coming off a torn ACL. He also has a stable of young backs behind him in Charcandrick West, Spencer Ware and Knile Davis. Will the Chiefs continue to ride Charles hard throughout the regular season, or will he be limited to keep fresh for the postseason?

Here is the news you need to know…

Jamaal Charles is the featured back, but the team has options Adam Teicher of ESPN

"But the Chiefs recently re-signed running backs Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware for a reason, and it certainly appears they are preparing for the day when Charles is no longer their featured runner. The fourth back Charles referred to is Knile Davis, who remains on the roster despite dropping behind West and Ware on the depth chart last season."

Andy Reid issues strong statement at beginning of OTAAdam Teicher of ESPN

"Otherwise, optimism was the order of the day and it was fueled by Reid’s message about finishing what the Chiefs started last year. They won their final 10 regular season games to claim one of the AFC’s wild-card playoff berths, then took the franchise’s first postseason win in 22 years."
