What has changed: The Raiders already had one of the best collections of talent on the offensive side of the ball last year, and they added to it in the offseason. General manager Reggie McKenzie was able to snag guard Kelechi Osemele off the market on a five-year deal worth north of $12 million per year, while also re-signing left tackle Donald Penn.

Oakland is going to have one of the better offensive lines in the game with Osemele, Rodney Hudson and Gabe Jackson on the interior along with Penn and Austin Howard on the edges. It’s going to be a brawl up front.

Should they scare you?: This is going to be one of the harder games on the schedule. The Chiefs have beaten Oakland five of the six times the teams have met in the Andy Reid era, but this Raiders team is legitimate. Oakland is going to want to make a statement that it belongs in the conversation of AFC West contenders and this is the perfect time to do it.

If the Chiefs play their best game, they will win. However, if Kansas City plays a middling game as it did for the first three quarters of last year’s affair in O.co Coliseum, it likely goes in the loss column.

Prediction: 24-20, Raiders
