Coffee with the Chiefs – Make a trade?

Good morning, Addicts! I hope all of you survived Monday without trying to throw yourself out of the office window.

The Kansas City Chiefs gave us a little bit of news, with the retirement of defensive end Mike DeVito. In a league where there are so many guys who never scratch the surface of their abilities – hello Johnny Manziel and Josh Gordon – DeVito got everything out of who he was. We can all hope he truly enjoys a well-deserved retirement.

The Chiefs should trade down this year – Joel Thorman of Arrowhead Pride

"To me this screams that the Chiefs should absolutely trade down. I would LOVE to see KC move back and pick up an extra second and a third or a couple of seconds. That would be ideal and it would be the best way to make the Chiefs a better team. The problem? Many others are looking at the draft the same way and will want to trade down too."

Kansas City Chiefs scouting report: Keanu Neal – Leigh Oleszczak of KC Kingdom

"The only safety really worth taking in the first round is Florida State’s Jalen Ramsey, who very well could be the number one overall pick. Basically, if the Chiefs want to go with a safety early, it’ll likely come down to either Neal or Vonn Bell."
