Coffee with the Chiefs – Who is LDT?

Good morning, Addicts! It’s Saturday and hopefully you have some sweet plans lined up for the weekend. At least you are reading Coffee with the Chiefs, which means you are getting everything rolling the right way. Good for you, have a cookie.

As for the Kansas City Chiefs, we now know the preseason schedule but breathlessly await the regular season slate. Personally, I want the schedule to be lighter early on with Justin Houston still trying to come back. We can take down some of the big boys later on. Also, let’s get some damn primetime games at home! I want a few Sunday Night Football contests in Arrowhead, maybe against the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders.

Here is the news you need to know…

"Now, it’s not all bad with LDT by any means. You can see a lot to like about him in between his losses. Most of those positive traits consist of physical ability. LDT is a very solid athlete, but he also possesses some good strength overall, especially in his upper body and with his punch (when he doesn’t go over the top and lunge). It can be tough to find a lineman who is both athletic AND strong. LDT definitely fits that bill."

Chiefs scouting report: Kendall FullerLeigh Oleszczak of KC Kingdom

"Fuller, a three-year starter at Virginia Tech, had 119 tackles for the Hokies. He also had 25 defended passes, eight interceptions, three and a half sacks, and forced two fumbles (recovering both). Fuller comes from a family of Virginia Tech football players, as his three older brothers all played there at some point (Kyle Fuller of the Chicago Bears is one of his brothers)."
