Both of these players give the Chiefs depth at positions where an injury could spell serious trouble for their playoff aspirations in 2016. The tandem, while unlikely to crack the starting lineup in Year One, has a good shot at making a contribution to the team at spots where Kansas City rotated players throughout their 2015 campaign. There are clear areas of improvement for each of them, but they’re both well suited to what the Chiefs do on offense and defense.

If I had to lean in one direction, Shepard would be my second-round pick in 2016.

What Round Two options do you currently have an eye on? If the appeal process fails the Chiefs, should they consider trading down in the second round? How important is it that Kansas City’s R2 pick makes a contribution in their rookie season? Use the comment section below to chime in. As always, we appreciate your readership and support.
