Kansas City Chiefs outside linebacker Justin Houston proclaims he will play in 2016.
Since we learned that Justin Houston will be out 6-12 months with a ACL rehab, there has been plenty of talk about the timeline. Will he miss the entire season or not a single game? Well, Houston took to Twitter on Thursday morning to let people know what he thinks of folks saying he’ll be out the duration.
This is epic. Houston is just trolling fools at this point. It has to feel very good for any CHiefs fan to see how confident the All-Pro is that he will be abck in the field at some point in 2016. While it is not likely, I would not rule out Houston being back for Week 1. The guy is an animal.
In addition, we have seen some wild comebacks in recent times. Dontari Poe had back surgery in July and came back in time for Week 1. Then there is Eric Berry, who not only overcame cancer in just over six months but did not miss a practice or game all year, and then became a First-Team All-Pro.
