RB: Jamaal Charles

Obviously no one has forgotten about Jamaal Charles, but with talks about him being a possible cap casualty I think some people may have forgotten how special Charles truly is. We’re talking about a guy who when healthy is arguably the best running back in the league and a perfect fit for Andy Reid’s offense.

Let’s also remember that he has been the NFL’s all time leader in yards per carry for years and often did this behind less than stellar offensive lines and surrounding weapons. Yes, he’s coming off his second ACL tear and is approaching 30, but Charles has an exemplary attitude and demeanor when it comes to rehab and getting back to the player that he is.

Not to mention he’s only really had five seasons of a full workload, Charles will be back and possibly better than ever. With Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware both capable of spelling Charles when needed, we should look at the RB position as one of the biggest strengths on the team and deepest in the NFL.

Next: Wide receiver and tight end
