On this episode of Roughing the Kicker, Joshua Brisco talks about the impact of Eric Berry’s franchise tag, the probable departure of key Chiefs, how the team can replace those players, who is worth throwing extra money at, interesting developments in Denver, and our misguided obsession with the NFL combine and draft coverage in March.
When Eric Berry was given the franchise tag, at least one important Chief was given his permission slip to move to a new team. Of the top Chiefs free agents, I think two will depart and leave major holes in the team. When that happens, it will be up to John Dorsey to figure out how to fill those gaps while remaining under the salary cap. On this episode, we begin to explore how the Chiefs can go about that.
Plus, Denver is having issues of their own, and we talk about the NFL draft all wrong. All that and more on this episode of RTK.
