Good morning, Addicts! The Kansas City Chiefs are now five weeks away from unrestricted free agency, meaning that general manager John Dorsey has plenty of work to do. The Chiefs have a ton of free agents to sign before they hit the market, including trying to re-sign Eric Berry, Sean Smith, Derrick Johnson, Jaye Howard and Tamba Hali.

Between now and the start of free agency on March 7, the only real subject of note is the NFL Scouting Combine. Kansas City will have plenty to keep it busy, and we will cover all of it right here on Arrowhead Addict.

Here is the news you need to know…

Another Andy Reid disciple will be coaching in the Super BowlJoel Thorman of Arrowhead Pride

"Andy Reid has a connection to Super Bowl 50. The Kansas City Chiefs coach once had Ron Rivera as an assistant on his staff while with the Philadelphia Eagles. Rivera, the Carolina Panthers head coach, tries to become the second former Andy Reid assistant to go on to coach a team to a Super Bowl title. John Harbaugh, who was with Reid in Philly, went on to become a head coach and win a Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens."

Andy Reid tells Derek Carr that he would have drafted him Joel Thorman of Arrowhead Pride

"This is probably a little premature. The Chiefs made that trade in February of 2013 and Carr wasn’t selected until May 2014. That said, which one would you rather have? I can see the reason people would want Carr — he’s young and cheap and, oh by the way, he’s also pretty darn good."

Travis Kelce has a huge day in the Pro BowlKalani Takese of the Associated Press

"The Seattle Seahawks star, who was the first player picked in the all-star game’s draft, led scoring drives on three of Team Irvin’s first four possessions at Aloha Stadium. He threw touchdown passes of 14 and 2 yards to Atlanta Falcons teammates Julio Jones and Devonta Freeman, respectively, in the opening quarter."
