De’Anthony Thomas tweets he is coming back
There has been plenty of speculation as to whether or not Kansas City Chiefs returner/receiver De’Anthony Thomas will return to the team, let alone the National Football League. Thomas was drafted in 2014 and became a dynamic return man before sustaining a concussion in Week 11 against the San Diego Chargers.
After being cleared to return, Thomas and the team jointly decided to give him another week off. Then, the stories split. Thomas sauys he was still dealing with concussion-related issues while the Chiefs said his absence was a personal matter. Regardless, Thomas took to Twitter on Thursday and said this…
Thomas clearly intends to play this upcoming season, which is good news for Kansas City fans. Thomas is one of the better returners in the game and changes field position. With him in the lineup, the Chiefs are better on special teams and more diversified on offense.
Hopefully, Thomas can return at 100 percent and stay healthy. If the Chiefs can bring him back into the fold, it’s like adding a free agent that can play all over the field. Without question, Kansas City is at its best with No. 13 back deep.
