Good morning, Addicts! Hopefully your work week is flying by, and you can already see the weekend before your eyes. The Kansas City Chiefs made a significant move yesterday, promoting Brad Childress from a consultant on the offensive side to the coordinator, taking the place of Doug Pederson.

The Chiefs are entering what promises to be a crazy offseason, one that will be filled with personnel moves that both thrill the fan base and make them want to storm One Arrowhead Drive with torches. Hopefully there is more good than bad, and this group comes back even stronger in 2016 when training camp rolls around.

Here is the news you need to know…

Brad Childress, Matt Nagy to split offensive coordinator dutiesAdam Teicher of ESPN

"Childress and Nagy have been on Reid’s staff in Kansas City since Reid arrived as head coach in 2013. Childress has been an offensive assistant with the title of spread game analyst and special projects. Nagy has coached the quarterbacks."

Chiefs top free agents include Eric Berry, Derrick JohnsonJoel Thorman of Arrowhead Pride

"Each free agent deserves its own deep dive, which we will do as the offseason goes along. For now, here’s a list of all the Chiefs unrestricted free agents (as I know them). I did not include exclusive or restricted free agents like Charcandrick West because the Chiefs can control their rights if they want."

Andy Reid claims clock management debacle was plannedAdam Sties of SB Nation

"A touchdown with 1:13 left in regulation cut the Patriots’ lead to 27-20, but it came after the Chiefs drove to the 1-yard line with 2:33 remaining. Kansas City had no problem winding the clock all the way to the two-minute warning after just one play and then huddling after a second down play, allowing the clock to tick off another 30 seconds. All the while, Reid had three timeouts at his disposal."
