Jeremy Maclin facing ‘uphill battle’
The time has come. The Kansas City Chiefs will be taking on the New England Patriots on Saturday afternoon in the AFC Divisional playoffs, and one of their best players is going to give it a shot.
Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is listed as questionable and head coach Andy Reid talked about him being a game-time decision. Despite sustaining a high ankle sprain last Saturday in Kansas City’s 30-0 win over the Houston Texans, Maclin has rebounded enough to have a shot in this game. However, one national writer says it will be tough for Maclin to play.
It will be uphill battle for Jeremy Maclin to play today, but he wants to see how ankle feels this morning. He has been resting it all week.

This is one of those moments that show you how bad Maclin wants it. Even if he can’t go, the fact that this is even a conversation speaks to his toughness. You have to wonder if the Chiefs give Maclin a shot before the game, numbing it up enough to allow him to play.
