This is it. The Kansas City Chiefs are playing for a spot in the AFC Championship game, but they first have to beat the New England Patriots on Saturday afternoon.

What else could you possibly ask for? The Chiefs have a chance to advance to the final four teams for the first time since Joe Montana and Derrick Thomas wore the red and yellow for this team back in 1993.

It would be a gross understatement to say that I’m nervous at the moment, but not because the Patriots are better. In fact, I would never be nervous if I thought the Chiefs would lose. I’m nervous because Kansas City is more than good enough to win this game and take another step toward our dream.

Go Chiefs.
