Against the Houston Texans, cynical Chiefs fans had to fight our ingrained pessimistic outlook of the playoffs because we thought we knew the Chiefs were simply the superior team, and the drought should end. It did. This week, I’m fighting a similar battle. As I go through the key matchups on this episode of the podcast, I find myself siding with the Chiefs in the majority of them. However, this week, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick stand in the way. They pair up to become a slightly more intimidating duo than Brian Hoyer and Bill O’Brien, but does it matter?

On this episode of Roughing the Kicker, I hope you’ll see the same bizzaro world that I see: the Kansas City Chiefs should win in New England.
