If you’re a fan of playoff winter weather than I’ve got some good news for you Chiefs fans, it’s looking like it’s going to be one of those classic ugly games in Foxborough. Right now they are calling for freezing rain and snow at Gillette Stadium. You’d have to think this might favor the home team that’s used to playing in these conditions but if you’re a glass half full guy than maybe it favors the Chiefs.

The Patriots played a tough Broncos defense in New England on a snowy night and found themselves on the losing end of 30-24 score. Brady was forced to throw the ball 42 times as Denver completely shutdown the run attack of New England.

If Kansas City can find similar success in making the Patriots one dimensional they may find themselves in rare company winning in New England in January. Tom Brady is 21-8 in the postseason (Super Bowls included) and has only lost three times at home. Brady lost to the Ravens in 2009, the Jets in 2010, and the Ravens again in 2013. What’s the common denominator here? The Chiefs defense gives Kansas City a great chance to continue their special season.

That’s what on my mind, Addicts. What’s on yours?
