Jeremy Maclin, Justin Houston and more missing practice
The Kansas City Chiefs are going to be without some serious starpower on Tuesday when the team hits the field for practice. Head coach Andy Reid gave the rundown of the men missing the action, and it reads like an All-Pro roster.
Kansas City will be without wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (ankle), outside linebackers Tamba Hali (rest) and Justin Houston (precaution), offensive linemen Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (concussion) and Mitch Morse (concussion), and running back Spencer Ware (ankle).
However, there is good news on Maclin. Reid talked about Maclin only having a mild high ankle sprain while adding he would be alright if Maclin plays without practicing this week.
If Maclin is back out on the field come Saturday (or some time before that) it would obviously be a massive boost. You would also think the team would be jacked up through the roof to see one of its leaders go from the agony of believing he had a torn ACL to gutting it out in the AFC Divisional playoffs.
One thing is for sure, this week will be packed with drama.
