Coffee with the Chiefs – Not scaring anybody?

Good morning, Addicts! The Kansas City Chiefs are resting today before getting ready for the final week of the regular season. Of course, they will be hosting the Oakland Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium, and are favored by a touchdown over their longtime rivals.

Why the Chiefs aren’t scaring anybody … but should be – Bill Barnwell of ESPN

"Being hot in December doesn’t promise anything in January, but the Chiefs most certainly are. Their win over the Browns on Sunday was their ninth in a row, bringing them to 10-5 after losing five of their first six games. Those victories have been by an average of 16 points, with just two — a 10-3 win over the Chargers and yesterday’s 17-13 victory over Johnny Manziel and company — coming by seven points or fewer. This is not a well-timed series of coin-flip victories."

"We believe we know the Kansas City Chiefs 2016 schedule and it sure does seem easier than this year’s schedule. Instead of playing the AFC North, the Chiefs will be playing the AFC South next year. Instead of playing the NFC North, they will play the NFC South. The AFC North and NFC North were better divisions than those other two this year, save the 14-1 Panthers in the NFC South."
