Kansas City should be headed into the Oakland game healthier than it has been over the past month. Houston and Hali may not play but with Jeff Allen returning this week and De’Anthony Thomas scheduled to return against the Raiders, this team should be very healthy.

The Chiefs and Raiders game has been flexed into the late afternoon for next Sunday and they will be teeing off at the same time as the Denver Broncos and the San Diego Chargers. If Kansas City wins next week and Denver loses one of its last two games, the Chiefs will move into the third seed and host a playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Jets or Broncos.

Kansas City also heads into the playoffs for the first time in the same season as the Royals. Both the Chiefs and the Royals haven’t lost since late October and if the Chiefs can stretch the streak onto a 10th-straight game against the Raiders, it will be quite an accomplishment. The Raiders have nothing to play for in this game other than to ruin the Chiefs prospects headed into the postseason.
