Denver Broncos: Brock Osweiler remains the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos, despite a report coming out that Peyton Manning is getting frustrated with being a backup. While Manning and the Broncos deny the report…well, I mean c’mon, are we really supposed to believe a competitor like Manning is fine with being the backup? The Broncos defense took a hit with the loss of David Bruton to a broken leg.
- Chiefs’ take: Osweiler has not looked good, and teams are catching up on how to capitalize. If the Broncos lose this week, Kansas City has a chance to claim the division. With the ball-hawking Bengals on the docket, there is definitely a chance that could happen.
Green Bay Packers: The Packers got a mix of good and bad news as they got back tight end Andrew Quarless but lost wide receiver Ty Montgomery. Ultimately, that should be more gain than loss, but injuries continue to plague the Green Bay offense.

Houston Texans: The Texans have now lost quarterback TJ Yates for the remainder of the season. With the division still in contention, Houston now puts their hopes in Brandon Weeden.
Indianapolis Colts: Quarterback Andrew Luck continues to be held out. There were reports that he might be able to play in recent weeks, but each has come and gone without seeing the first round pick in action. The lack of Andrew Luck may be part of what is angering wide receiver TY Hilton who called out the Colts play-calling this past week. More signs of dissent on what is clearly a fractured team.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Troubled, and already suspended, Jags receiver Justin Blackmon is in trouble again. This time he was arrested for a DUI. Given his already extensive history of off the field issues, it’s hard to predict when he will be able to see the field again.
