Atlanta Falcons at Jacksonville Jaguars (-3)

Jacksonville (5-8) is frisky offensively with quarterback Blake Bortles and wide receiver Allen Robinson lighting up the NFL. The Jaguars are also facing a horrendous defense in Atlanta (6-7) and a team that is completely in the tank. Expect a killing in Duval County.

Pick: Jacksonville 34, Atlanta 24

Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings (-5)

Chicago (5-8) is dead in the water after blowing consecutive home games to the 49ers and Redskins. On the other side of the coin, Minnesota (8-5) desperately needs to win this game to stay in good standing for both the NFC North race and the wild card chase.

Pick: Minnesota 24, Chicago 17

Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots (-15)

There are no words to describe the horror show Tennessee (3-10) is going to put forth in this contest. The Titans are about to get hammered by New England (11-2), which needs the game to make sure it stays in the driver’s seat of home-field advantage. The Patriots are going to lay it on the Titans.

Pick: New England 38, Tennessee 13

Carolina Panthers at New York Giants (NO LINE)

I’m going with the upset of the year. New York (6-7) needs to win the game and this is the typical game when the Giants rise up and make everyone a believer, only to blow it the following week. Carolina (13-0) is in a position where a loss does not hurt it very much.

Pick: New York 20, Carolina 17

Buffalo Bills at Washington Redskins (EVEN)

The loser of this dumpster fire is in rough shape. At this point, this is like two overweight fighters at a charity event who are tired of getting hit and just want to go home.

Pick: Washington 19, Buffalo 14

Green Bay Packers (-3) at Oakland Raiders

Oakland (6-7) absolutely has to win this game, but Green Bay (9-4) also has to win and is the better team. Look for the Packers to take care of this contest behind a huge day by Aaron Rodgers. The Raiders simply don’t have the secondary to deal with it.

Pick: Green Bay 30, Oakland 22

Cleveland Browns at Seattle Seahawks (-16)

Seattle (8-4) is going to pound this team. Cleveland (3-10) should be taken out of the United States. I’m not talking about the Browns only. I’m talking about the city.

Pick: Seattle 33, Cleveland 7
