48. Chiefs embarrass Patriots on Monday Night Football (2014)

Going into this game, the Kansas City Chiefs were not being favored by Vegas to win, despite being at Arrowhead Stadium. The New England Patriots were 2-1 and the Chiefs were sitting at 1-2 and without a litany of players, including strong safety Eric Berry, defensive end Mike DeVito and inside linebacker Derrick Johnson. It appeared Kansas City was in for a letdown on primetime television.

As it turned out, it was a night that Chiefs fans will never forget. Kansas City turned up the heat on Tom Brady and the Patriots, racing to a 17-0 halftime lead. In the second half, the Chiefs turned Brady over three times in the way of a fumble and two interceptions, with Husain Abdullah returning the final one for six points. The Chiefs won 41-14, announcing themselves as legitimate contenders.

On that same night, the Kansas City fans overtook Seattle for the loudest outdoor stadium in the world, reaching over 142 dB.
