52. Chiefs beat Raiders in regular-season finale to make playoffs (1994)

In 1994, the Kansas City Chiefs were making one final run with Joe Montana at the helm. Unfortunately, Montana was left to battle injuries throughout the regular season, and the results were uneven. Kansas City started the season hot but went into a spiral, only to find itself at 8-7 going into the final week of the year. The Week 17 matchup would pit the Chiefs against the Los Angeles Raiders, who were getting ready to move back to Oakland the following season.

The winner would be a wild card team while the loser went home, and Kansas City sent the Raiders packing. In their final game at the L.A. Coliseum, Los Angeles only scored nine points, losing 19-9 in a contest that the Chiefs never trailed. Marcus Allen torched his old team for 124 rushing yards, leading the Chiefs to their fifth consecutive playoff berth. Los Angeles has not hosted an NFL game since.
