55. Chiefs topple Broncos in snow at Mile High (1995)

In 1995, the Kansas City Chiefs were authoring one of their best seasons. The team ended up going 13-3, including a clean sweep of its AFC West rivals. One of those games took place in Denver, when the Chiefs went into old Mile High Stadium and beat the Broncos, 21-7. What made the game memorable was the setting. Kansas City and Denver were blanketed by snow, despite the game happening in October.

For the Chiefs, it was the second straight season of winning at Denver, something that had not previously happened since before Marty Schottenheimer took over as head coach in 1989. The game was also punctuated by Hall of Fame running back Marcus Allen, who plunged into the end zone in the third quarter for the final points. The picture of Allen leaping in for six points through the snow has become an iconic image of his great career.
