Chiefs injuries: Four ruled out for Sunday

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced the latest injury report, and it is a mixture of news.

On the negative side, the Chiefs will be without outside linebacker Justin Houston, safety Husain Abdullah, defensive end Mike DeVito and wide receiver/returner De’Anthony Thomas. Houston is still trying to get back on the field after sustaining a hyperextended knee against the Buffalo Bills, while the other three are hoping to get cleared from their respective concussions.

However, it does appear that we will finally be getting Allen Bailey back on the field. Bailey has been out since the BYE week but has practiced in full for the first time since the calf injury that sidelined him. Look for Bailey to take DeVito’s spot, with Dontari Poe and Jaye Howard joining him on the line.

Eric Fisher has been practicing along with Jeff Allen, although Allen has been in a limited capacity. He is likely the only one that needs to be monitored during warmups for the coaching staff and medical personnel. Tamba Hali did not practice on Friday but will be going on Sunday. The veteran has been getting some rest and it has been paying off in spades.
