When: Sunday December 13, 2015
Where: Arrowhead Stadium
Who: San Diego Chargers 3-9
The San Diego Chargers are on a huge slide during their last few games. The team, who normally is a threat on the offense with gunslinger quarterback Phillip Rivers at the helm, has only scored only 3 points in two of the last three games they have played.
Despite their lack of offense they are still ranked in the top 10 in passing yards per game, 297.9, and total yards 380.6. The Chargers defense however, has been awful this year, allowing 246 passing yards per game (21st), 124.6 rushing yards per game (28th), and 27 points per game (29th) in the NFL.
In the last game the Chiefs, man-handled the Charges in their home stadium, beating the division rival in to the tune of 33-3. It was a completely one sided game in favor of the Chiefs, as the Chargers simply did not show up.
As they get ready to take on the Chargers again, but this time at home, this is a completely winnable game for KC as they are a team on a mission, and San Diego is just crawling. Look for Kansas City to keep the trend of mixing the pass and the rush during the game, a formula that has been working quite well. The defense will be a big problem for the weak Chargers offensive line and Rivers will more than likely spend a lot of time on the ground thanks in part to the pass rush of KC.
Prediction: Kansas City 35, San Diego 14
Next: Kansas City Chiefs vs Baltimore Ravens
