Chiefs favored by double-digits over Chargers

The Kansas City Chiefs are 7-5 and winners of six straight contests. It has been a tremendous turnaround by a team that everybody left for dead back in October. Meanwhile, the San Diego Chargers have been awful. They are sitting at 3-9 and look to be moving after the campaign, sucking the life out of the franchise.

With those two factors converging on Sunday afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs are being favored by 11.5 points at home over the Chargers, according to OddsShark.

This is the biggest line of any game Kansas City has been in. Frankly, it seems correct. The Chiefs are a vastly superior football team and should be able to crush San Diego, which checked out weeks ago. When the two teams got together three weekends ago, the Chiefs hammered the Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium, winning 33-3.

Going forward, Kansas City is in amazing position. At 7-5, the Chiefs are the top wild card in the AFC and play three of their remaining four games at home. Additionally, they only play teams that are at least two games under .500, with the Chargers, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns and Oakland Raiders on the docket. Baltimore is the only road game left, and it has no talent left on the roster.

Kansas City has a real shot to win 10 straight to close out the season. Incredible.
