Kansas City Chiefs: Do You Trust Them Yet?

And yet I am still concerned about facing the Oakland Raiders this weekend. This is not unfounded. This rivalry has a history of being hard fought and close in score. And each team’s record and momentum going into this game often seem to matter little, if at all. In fact, the Chiefs five-game winning streak last season was stopped by their first game against the Raiders.

So I still seem to be lacking a little trust in my team.

Mind you, this has no affect on my fandom. I am stoked by the turn around that has taken place over the past few weeks. This is what we knew this team was capable of before the season. Though it is being played out by some of the names we did not expect.

And while I might be a bit concerned about how things will go in Oakland, I am definitely picking the Chiefs. And unless something crazy happens, I will be picking my Chiefs for every game remaining this season.

I can’t say that expect to end the year 11-5, but you had better believe I will be cheering for it every step of the way.
