Eric Fisher, Charcandrick West and more return for Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs are returning to practice on Wednesday, and things are actually looking up.

After being out for the past four games, defensive end Allen Bailey is back and practicing after dealing with a strained calf. Bailey’s return is key, giving the Chiefs a nice rotation along with Jaye Howard, Dontari Poe and Mike DeVito.

Also, the Chiefs watched as three offensive linemen went down against the Buffalo Bills including Eric Fisher (neck), Mitch Morse (concussion) and Jeff Allen (ankle). The good news is Fisher is already back on the field, while Allen is still rehabbing his ankle. Morse was not able to pass the concussion protocol, so we are still waiting to see how he improves throughout the week.

Kansas City also welcomed back outside linebacker Dee Ford and running back Charcandrick West. Ford missed the past two games after sustaining back spasms during warmups against the San Diego Chargers. West missed only one game and is apparently dealing well with his balky hamstring.
