Chiefs favored heavily over Bills

The Kansas City Chiefs are going for their fifth straight win, this time over the Buffalo Bills. For the first time since Week 7, the game will be taking place at Arrowhead Stadium, and Vegas is showing some serious love for the hometown team.

Kansas City is favored by a full touchdown over the Bills, who come into the game with a 5-5 record, just like the Chiefs. To show how much of a line that is, the New England Patriots were favored by 7.5 point at home over Buffalo on Monday Night Football. New England is also undefeated and almost never loses at Gillette Stadium, so Vegas is basically saying that the Patriots and Chiefs are playing at the same level.

This is a massive game for both teams. Whoever wins will have a huge tiebreaker in hand going down the stretch for the AFC playoffs. If the Chiefs can win, they would have the tiebreakers on the Bills, Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers, earning head-to-head victories against the entire trio.

Kansas City caught a break this week in more than one way. The Bills are playing their third consecutive road game and are coming in on a short week. In addition, both Kyle Williams and Mario Williams are both out with injuries, severely hurting their ability to rush the passer.

The Chiefs must find a way to win this game and get to 6-5.
