Chiefs-Broncos inactives: Sanders in, Norwood out

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced their inactive list on Sunday for thie game against the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field, and it is fairly surprising.

We all knew that Ben Grubbs, Aaron Murray, Ramik Wilson and Allen Bailey would be out. It was also expected that Marcus Cooper would be on the bench. However, the scratch of Knile Davis has to come as a surprise.

Davis was the backup to Jamaal Charles through the first two years of his career, but he fell out of favor in 2015. Charcandrick West has established himself as the back with Charles on the shelf, and now Davis can’t even make the active roster. It is a surprising fall for a player who has been a very good kick returner and a serviceable running back.

Meanwhile, the Broncos have announced that Emmanuel Sanders is ACTIVE while slot receiver Jordan Norwood is out. Sanders has been dealing with an ankle injury all week and did not practice.

On a side note, the Chiefs will be wearing all white. Kansas City is also starting Jeff Allen at left guard and Jah Reid at right tackle.
