Steelers at Chiefs: Inactives and how to watch

The Kansas City Chiefs host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium, and both teams will be without some pretty big names.

Pittsburgh has officially declared quarterback Ben Roethlisberger inactive. With Roethlisberger and Michael Vick both recovering from injuries, it will be third-string quarterback Landry Jones receiving his first professional start. Jones played in the second half last week against the Arizona Cardinals and did well, leading Pittsburgh to an upset win.

The Chiefs are looking at a host of talented players on the sideline. We already knew that both Phillip Gaines and Jamaal Charles are out with torn ACLs, but now Jeremy Maclin and Mike DeVito will also miss the content with concussions. Maclin is a surprise, considering he passed his tests and actually practiced on Friday.

The other inactives for Kansas City include Ramik Wilson, Brian Parker, Jah Reid, Aaron Murray and Marcus Cooper, according to Terez Paylor.

On the good side, this means that nose tackle Dontari Poe and outside linebacker Tamba Hali are both active and ready to go. Poe had to miss last week with a high ankle sprain, but apparently is healthy enough to play. Hali has been limited the last two weeks in practice with a knee injury, but has not missed any time.

As for how to watch the game…

Hopefully the offense can figure out how to score points, and the Chiefs can finally win another football game.
