Good morning, Addicts! It’s a Red Friday, with our beloved and beleaguered Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium. It’s funny, how fortunes change in the National Football League so quickly. Right now, everybody feels like this team is going down the tubes. Yet, should Kansas City win this weekend, it will be 2-2 and coming home to face the woeful Chicago Bears.

Oh, football is a wild mistress.

Here is the news you need to know:

Chiefs cut Fred Williams from practice squadJoel Thorman of Arrowhead Pride

"Williams was a preseason star for the Chiefs catching 15 balls for 167 yards and three touchdowns. We thought he had a shot at making the 53-man roster out of camp so to see him cut now is a bit of a surprise. We don’t get to see the practice squad players during the season so we’re left guessing on why Williams was released now."
