Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Bucs have signed linebacker Josh Martin to serve as Lavonte David’s primary backup and as a core Special Teams player.
- Chiefs’ take: Martin is the second former Chiefs linebacker the Bucs have signed this season, following James Michael-Johnson (who was later released). That shows how highly regarded the Chiefs linebacker corps really is, as the Bucs have the top waiver wire claim.
Tennessee Titans: The Titans suffered a huge blow by losing guard Chance Warmack for three weeks with a sprained MCL. Warmack has been solid on the field as an individual, but the Titans struggled heavily to protect rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota from opposing pass rushes.
Washington Redskins: David Amerson became the highest 2013 draft pick to be released from his team this week. The 6-foot-1 defensive back has been unable to make any headway in his NFL career despite having many natural tools to work with.
Well that’s all I’ve got for you this week Addicts. Be sure to check back in next Friday to stay on top of what is going on around the rest of the league.
