Coffee with the Chiefs – Marcus Peters is awesome

Good morning, Addicts! It’s an NFL Sunday, and without the Kansas City Chiefs playing, you can sit back and observe some other teams. Honestly, I enjoy Sunday’s like this when I can take in some of the other teams and get a pretty good idea of what the Chiefs will be up against down the road. Of course, I would rather be watching the Chiefs smack some team around, but that is the way it goes.

Marcus Peters is making an immediate impactTerez Paylor of the Kansas City Star

"What’s more, with his two interceptions — he also picked off Houston quarterback Brian Hoyer in week one — Peters has given the Chiefs a dash of playmaking in the secondary they desperately lacked a year ago, when they finished tied for last in the league with a paltry six interceptions."

"The Broncos were unable to establish any sort of run game, as the Kansas City front seven held starter C.J. Anderson to just 27 yards. Dontari Poe continues to play more following his off-season injury, as does safety Eric Berry who also helped in the run game as he split time with Ron Parker and Husain Abdullah."
